We are pleased to announce our Netdev 0x13 keynote speaker: Alissa Cooper
Alissa Cooper is the Chair of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). She has served on many roles at the IETF including on the Internet Architecture Board (IAB), as an area director of Applications and Real-Time (ART), and as chair of IANA Stewardship Coordination Group (ICG). Alissa is also a fellow at CISCO and a known advocate of privacy.
Alissa is going to talk about the relationship between Open Source and the IETF. Once you have a decent open source implementation, should you really care about standardization? Are open source and open standards mutually exclusive or mutually supportive?
Please come hear and engage in the discussion.
