So you want to run a Linux network service and not clear how much resources you need?
Don Wallwork and Andy Gospodarek will be presenting a formula for estimating the minimum number of server cores - running Linux network kernel - for a particular network service at a given rate and frame size. They will cover IPv4 and IPv6 as well and VxLAN encapsulated or tunneled traffic with the goal of understanding how the utilization of these cores impacts planning and deployment of new systems.
