Re: [External] [Netdev 0x19] Accepted submission #25 "Performance Optimisation and Practices..."
Greetings, I am delighted to have received confirmation of the acceptance of my abstract. Regarding the feedback received, the initial segment of the presentation focuses on a kernel implementation, while the subsequent part pertains to DPDK. We are open to splitting the presentation into two parts, each lasting 30 minutes, if that aligns better with the audience's preferences. Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Some comments from reviewers ---- General theme of the feedback: This submission looks like two separate talks stuffed into one. I'm guessing the first part is more related to the kernel implementation (it's not clear to me from the abstract), in which case it could make sense to separate them (kernel and DPDK - both developers and users - tend to be different crowds). I think each part have enough merit to be a (maybe somewhat short) talk on its own. ---- Contact Netdev Society <submissions-0x19@netdevconf.info> with any questions or concerns. - Netdev 0x19 Submissions
We cannot give you an hour. The max would be 45 minutes including Q&A. cheers, jamal
Hi Jamal/authority, Unfortunately, we are unable to secure Croatia VISA appointments in the UK. We tried our best to make arrangements, but for some reason it's extremely difficult to get these appointments in a short timeframe. Would it be possible to change our talk to a remote format instead? I would sincerely appreciate the support.
